How to get a portrait of your pet!

All you have to do is contact me via the email provided on the "Contact Elfie" page of this website. From there you simply provide me with a photo of your beloved pet and let me know what medium you want me to use and what size you want the portrait to be.

Pricing and Delivery

The price will depend on the medium, the size of the piece, and will include the delivery to where you are in the world. I always make a special effort to ensure that your pet portrait is handled with care from the moment my brush first touches the canvas to when the finished piece is delivered to you. Your pet portrait will be sent to you as soon as the painting is dry!

Frequently asked questions.

"How long will it take?"

The time I take depends on the medium, the size, and the requested detail of the piece. Anywhere from one day to one week is the standard window. Acrylic paintings and pastel drawings can be sent to you immediately upon completion. Oil paintings, however, may not be dry enough to send for up to a month after being painted.

"Do you do framing?"

I'm an artist and not a framer. I Always say you are better off getting the painting framed by someone in your local area. That way you can take your time and really pick out a frame that both matches the decore of your home and at the same time compliments the painting in a way that is best for you.

"How big should the photo be?"

Don't worry too much at all. As long as the picture is clear in color and details, and defines your pets personality, that's all I need.

"How do you charge for shipping?"

To keep things simple, I charge a standard delivery rate to everyone worldwide, based on size. This cost only increases if you request express delivery. In that case, the cost of shipping varies from destination to destination.

Is it safe to ship paintings?

Of course! There is no need for concern. If my client wishes, I can make sure the delivery is sent by registered mail, and the tracking number is available for my client if they wish to track its journey. Additionally, I commit myself to the upmost care and safety in the packaging and delivery of your special piece.

"How and when do I pay?"

Paypal transfers are fine and what people find the safest way to go online.

For my personal peace of mind, I normally accept half of the full payment upfront. The other half of the payment is made once I have sent you a photo of the completed work. The portait will then be sent to you directly.
